2016年11月4日，国际财务报告准则基金会受托人宣布了国际财务报告准则咨询委员会（IFRS咨询委员会）的新任命和重新任命。其中，上海财经大学陈信元教授被任命为下一届委员会委员，任期自2017年1月1日开始。

IFRS咨询委员会

国际财务报告准则咨询委员会是国际会计准则理事会（IASB）和国际财务报告准则基金会受托人的正式咨询机构，成员来自受IASB工作影响或者对IASB工作感兴趣的组织。成员的代表性极为广泛，包括投资者、财务分析师和财务报表的其他使用者，也包括财务报表编制者、学术界人士、审计师、监管机构、职业会计机构和会计准则制定机构。IFRS咨询委员会代表了全球43个组织，共计有48名个人委员。还有三个组织派有官方观察员。IFRS咨询委员会的成员由国际财务报告准则基金受托人任命。

IFRS咨询委员会每年在伦敦举行三次会议（2017年为两次），每次两天时间。

另外，财政部会计司高一斌司长也是IFRS咨询委员会委员会。

IFRS Advisory Council

The IFRS Advisory Council is the formal advisory body to the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation. It consists of a wide range of representatives from groups that are affected by and interested in the IASB's work. These include investors, financial analysts and other users of financial statements, as well as preparers, academics, auditors, regulators, professional accounting bodies and standard-setters. 43 organisations from across the world are represented on the Advisory Council, with 48 individual members. Three additional organisations are official observers. Members of the Advisory Council are appointed by the Trustees.

The Advisory Council normally meets three times a year (two times in 2017) for a period of two days, in London. The Chairman of the IASB, the Director of Technical Activities, the Director of Research, the Director of Implementation Activities, and IASB members and staff who are responsible for items on the Advisory Council meeting agenda are normally required to attend the meetings.
